One Word ~ Hockey

One of my favorite things is watching Hockey with my hubster and kiddos.  Don't get me wrong, I could watch it all alone and still enjoy it...thoroughly.  But, with everyone together, it becomes a definite bonding time.  With my son in it and daughter working up to playing, the watching has become more focused.  We always loved the game and now, it amazes me that it's possible, we love it more.

Hockey isn't as popular here in the U.S. like elsewhere, possibly because you will not find "rock stars" like in other popular sports.  Which is a huge selling point for me personally.  You have your great players - they're considered great because of how well of a team player they are.

We learn a lot from playing sports.  People count on you and you count on them to achieve your goal.  You don't always win in life and you don't always lose.  True achievement is how you deal with both.
