Christmas Lists: End of Day 1
End of Day 1: Our new Christmas tradition and it has brought some very interesting results. It is not that easy to come up with things like you would think...then again I think we are trying to hard. So, we decided our lists can be ongoing and we will share them at a later date.
What we are going to work on is everyone participating in the preparation of our Christmas time. Not just Mum with help coming in at scattered moments. It is challenging to coordinate everyone's schedule to do this, but we're getting there. My hubster is working full-time AND taking college courses to get his BA, full-time. That is very, very trying on us all. Lots and lots of prayer is the only thing getting us through. We do miss Daddy. Also, my son is at the finish line for his 1st semester in college...which means finals. So...he's not that available either. We are beyond looking forward to their Christmas break!!!
I went through most of our Christmas boxes and I pretty much have a good game plan for it all. We have our lighted Palm Tree up (we're in Florida, remember? ;) and made room for the traditional one. Got some other decorating done too. All while running back and forth picking up this person, dropping off that one, going to this store and running that errand, laundry, dinner, school business (we run a private school for home educators), picking up those that we're dropped off and getting back in time for dinner. The most awesome thing of all is there hasn't been any stress! We are so going with the flow~
Side note: hubster got me a new camera! Been playing with it (daughter has had more time and is kicking butt, little stinker) and loving it. So, here is one of the 1st pics taken with it.
Muwahahahahaa! Got Sebastian when he didn't expect it! They call me "Paparazzi" when I get them. Hee hee~and now I have a new camera with more ways to get them!
